Freshwater Creek Steiner School was established on farm land and this connection to place and productivity is valued. The School recently acquired an additional 10 ha and asked BJA to provide a vision for long term development. The intention is to establish Early Childhood, develop Primary school and add High school facilities up to class 10 over the next 15 years.

The Masterplan has been developed to take into consideration not only the ultimate development but also the staging priorities: needs, cost and construction constraints. It recognises that the School’s development will be an organic process in response to the School’s unfolding identity, changing local demographics and evolving educational pedagogy.
