Adjoining the walkway above Fairlight pool, this site with panoramic views of the harbour called for something special. Our client wishes to continue living on the site, transforming the old family home to a contemporary 3 level, 3 unit apartment.
The sweeping curved decks reference the family’s nautical life and the building as a whole embraces environmentally sustainable practices, both passive and active, including PV roof panels, batteries, heat recovery technology. Add to this, a unique artistic sensibility to the interior design with space for storage of bikes and water craft, the development will be unique.
Our design was respectful of adjoining property’s amenity and views, and as a result obtained council approval with minimal change.
