Free-standing bedroom pavilions are perched on rock outcrops amongst angophora trees within a natural bush setting. The simple structures were built of ironbark timber to float above the rocky site. Zincalume ‘tin’ roofs are pitched to parallel the steep slope.
The siting, materials, stepped plan form and offset windows connect the occupants directly to the landscape.
