OUR APPROACH

The siting of a building changes the landscape and demands that we integrate the two. Building elements extend into the landscape and the vistas and micro climates in turn condition the building.

We take every opportunity to create new places that meet human activities without depleting nature. New planting supports animal and bird life, and along with a judicious use of materials tempers the microclimate.

We encourage the use of paving surfaces and rainwater systems that allow for infiltration of rainwater to the water table. The integration of reticulated water features such as Flowforms is a core part of our work.
